Idun minerals makeup review

Hello! We are at the end of summer and I was inspired to create a fresh and youthful makeup that would be easy to wear and that would add luminosity to the face. I was intrigued by the fabulous palettes of Idun minerals eyeshadows! I especially love to use the mono eyeshadow as a highlighter and that the gold eyeshadow looks like would have gold pieces in it. I really love the entire performance of all Idun minerals products since I was looking for a substitute that would replace some conventional professional products. Below check the video makeup tutorial that I did directly in nature and in natural day light.

I have used the following products from Idun minerals
Liquid foundation Disa
Pen concealer Raps
Setting powder Light warm
Bronzer Midnattssol
Eyeshadow Fjallsippa (as highlighter)
Eyeliner Lava
Eyeshadow Sommargyllen
Quad eyeshadow Norrlandssyren
Mascara Eir
Blush Akerbar
Creme lipstick Frida

NOTE: There is NO FILTER or any RETOUCH on photo or video. Natural light only.

Metallic smokey eye video tutorial

metallic-smokey-eye

Here it is! An edgy metallic smokey eye with a rock’n’roll vibe! Easy to create and done all with natural cosmetics. I wanted to add a little bit different feeling to the classic smokey eye than usually. The shape is extended out to get that sexy looking cat eye effect when you want a makeup for a night out. And there are just a few steps so that everyone can create it with a few products. And I can assure you it will stay on all night long; approved!

I suggest it to any eye color, but as you can see the green/grey eye colours really pop out with that mysterious gaze.

You can wear this makeup with a casual rock mood but also pair it with a simple dress as well. Versatility is the keyword of this look.

Products I have used in this video tutorial are:

Suti Rejuvenate Face Oil for Day
HIRO Cosmetics mineral foundation Cream Dream
HIRO Cosmetics mineral foundation Brown sugar
HIRO Space balm
HIRO Cosmetics Flat Top Foundation Brush
HIRO Cosmetics Angled Blush Brush
HIRO Cosmetics All Over Eye Brush
HIRO Cosmetics mineral eyeshadow Silver mine
RMS Beauty cream eyesahdow Karma
RMS Beauty living luminizer
Und Gretel eye pencil black
Organic wear BB mascara
Logona eyebrow pencil
Logona double lip pencil

You can also fix the entire make-up with a natural spritz of toners or facial mists. I have used Dr. Hauschka Facial toner to set the make-up.

And here you can see the video tutorial done all with natural cosmetics without retouch or any filters, just true beauty 🙂

Thanks for sharing your comments with me 🙂

Bronzed Smokey eyes

marie natie mineral make-up

The holiday time is approaching and the smokey eye look is one of the most wearable and desired make-up techniques. It can be done in many different ways and with different products. I present you an easy version that can be done by anyone. I have chosen shimmery colors in natural brown tonalities because they give some softness to the entire look. To create this look I’ve used Marie Natie products that I’ve recently tested and discovered too. I especially like their formulations and the fact that they produce pressed mineral products of great quality. My favorites are absolutely the eyeshadows and foundations!

There is another interesting story about this make-up that I want you to know. The girl who was my model (Thank you Ines!) told me that this make-up has lasted like untouched all night long. We did her make-up in the evening and then she went out. The best quality guarantee 🙂

Video tutorial Makeup for tanned skin

Summer is over and many of you has still got the summer tan on and so I decided to take this opportunity and show you how to “handle” your skin and make-up after summer vacations. For more information on how to treat your skin after summer vacation check this tutorial.

When it comes to tanned skin the make-up application as well as choosing colors are slightly different than usual, because the skin has to breathe, without being overloaded with lots of products in order to regenerate itself for upcoming colder season.

Here is the video tutorial and feel free to drop me your thoughts 🙂
